Interview with host - Nikka T

AWC:

Hello, I'm Gabs Castro from the Autoflower World Cup 2023 and now I'm with Nikka T. Please, talk a little bit about yourself and your relationship with the cannabis world.

Nikka T:

Yeah, I'm just blessed to be here. Thank you for having me at the Autoflower World Cup, at the OG BCN. I'm an educator, so I have really… I coined the term “solventless” and I've been spreading the knowledge of how to make concentrates via mechanical means without the use of any chemical solvents. And that's really what I do. I'm also a DJ and I'm hosting this event. 

AWC:

Cool! And why are you here? 

Nikka T:

I'm here in Barcelona for Spannabis, for Spannabis week and for all these events, and I'm here to host and DJ at the Autoflower World Cup. 

AWC:

And please, Nikka, tell me a little bit about your experience with autoflowers? 

Nikka T:

You know, I don't have a ton of experience with autoflowers. I think this is why I'm not judging this one because generally I judge a bunch of these cups. But the experience I do have with autoflowers is that we have the ability to process a lot of the autoflowers that first hit the market. And I was processing this bear OG in Southern California, out of Southern California and we are actually seeing viability in water hash from these autoflowers. So I have really high hopes for autoflowers. I love the ease of it. I love that it's getting more people into growing cannabis. I have quite a few friends that are growing autos now.

What are you looking for in the Autoflower World Cup?

Nikka T:

I'm gonna be smelling all these winners and I want to find specific terps that also might yield in water hash. So I'm gonna be talking to some of these cultivators and the breeders because really that's my goal here! I want to find washers in the autoflowers.
