Interview with Sebastian - Fast Buds

AWC:

Hello, I'm Gabs Castro from the Autoflower World Cup 2023, and I'm with Sebastian. Please, Sebastian, tell us about yourself and your relationship with cannabis.

Sebastian Good:

Well, I'm Sebastian Good, and I'm obviously from Fast Buds. I do the YouTube channel for Fast Buds. So I home-grow my own weed, I test our strains, and I film everything, and I make educational content for the people because for me it's the most important thing that we liberate this plant, that we free cannabis, the worldwide legalization. And obviously we're  100% focused... No, not true. This year we have some Fastflowering strains as well, but until this year only autoflowering. So I am very dedicated to autoflowering cannabis.

AWC:

And how was your first experience with autoflowers?

Sebastian Good:

Well, my first experience with autoflowers, that must have been like 10 years ago or something like that. And I'm pretty sure I got my fingers, what was it? It was called Blue Dream Matic from Fast Buds. It was a Blue Dream automatic, right? And yes, I fell right away for Fast Buds genetics. Obviously, I tried everything because at this point I wasn't working with Fast Buds yet, but Fast Buds just stood out for me. Eventually I talked to them and said, hey, I need to make some money with cannabis and I don't want to sell it, let me make videos about it. And the rest is history.

AWC:

Cool! And what are you looking for in the Autoflower World Cup?

Sebastian Good:

What do I look for? I really hope that I can maybe climb up on stage and take a trophy. Because I not only work for Fast Buds, but I also am a home grower. So I test our strains and I grow almost exclusively autoflowers and almost exclusively Fast Buds and I entered the Cup. And so I hope maybe I can win, you know, it's a big competition I heard.

AWC:

So what, in your opinion, does the future hold for autoflowers?

Sebastian Good:

Well, it's very easy to predict the future of autoflowers. I always say autos are the future because autos by now are almost, or maybe even already on par with photoperiodic cannabis. We just had one of our strains tested in a contest in Los Angeles and it tested with 30% total cannabinoids, of which 28.5% THC and you will not find many photoperiodic strains that would have that high THC.

AWC:

Wow, thank you so much!

Sebastian Good:

Thank you so much for having me and it's really lovely! And don't forget: it's 420 somewhere!

AWC:

Good luck to you!

Sebastian Good:

Ah, thank you. Yeah, yeah, please. Cross fingers, in German we press thumbs!
